Blue North Officials was founded in 2024 to solve a clear problem: sports organizations needed a more dependable, transparent option for umpires—and officials needed a place they could trust for steady work, real support, and respect.
Our Mission Is Simple: To provide a reliable, transparent, and fair assigning service for Minnesota baseball—one that supports officials, treats partners with respect, and makes the entire game-day experience better for everyone.
Founder Michael Jensen grew up playing baseball, competed through college, and later became a coach. He knows how important officials are—not just for calling the game, but for keeping things fair, smooth, and fun for athletes, coaches, and families.
That’s why Blue North focuses on two things:
1. Giving sports organizations a better option: reliable umpires, clear pricing, and game-day follow-through
2. Giving umpires a better experience: fair pay, consistent games, and a crew that treats you like a pro
